Waiting on the Moon is the third release from SHIFTWORK's debut album burn the nightshade oil. This song draws on cosmic analogies about the push and pull of complex feelings like grief and guilt, and the ways in which we dance to and around them.

We hope that Waiting on the Moon might transport the listener to an ethereal place, a place of connection and release. The song beckons all to waltz to the tempo of the tide until eventually acknowledging the beauty of just letting go.
